Taking the Hate as a Compliment
Miley has feuded with prominent names throughout her famous career, including Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Nick Minaj, Taylor Momsen, and Jodie Sweetin. As opposed to letting the words get the best of her, she sees celebrities talking about her as a sign of someone who “has made it.”

She believes that if celebrities have something to say about her behavior, music, etc., that means that she’s important enough to be talked about. Miley also didn’t always stay silent when people spoke out against her. She was more than willing to stand up to the haters.
