Her Beef with Taylor Swift
Unlike many of the haters, Taylor enjoyed Miley’s performance at the 2013 MTV VMA Awards. She cheered her on for putting on a brave performance. It was only a couple of years later that their friendship fell apart. At this time, Taylor was killing it in the industry, having recently released her album, 1989.

She posted numerous pictures on Instagram of her friends, her life on tour, and her current whereabouts. Miley Cyrus didn’t identify with Taylor’s lifestyle at the time and said that she was not part of her “Squad.” She preferred surrounding herself with people who had “real lives.”
