Yes, please. Alannah Myles was a Canadian from Toronto, and she wrote the song about Elvis.

Now: After having won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance for the hit single, Myles disappeared from the radar. She did, however, have some follow up records that did well in her native country of Canada. She’s still making music to this day.
