Typical Georgia Farm Boy
On a hot July day in 1976, LeClaire and Tommy Bryan welcomed their youngest son, Thomas Luther “Luke” Bryan. Born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia, Bryan spent his childhood on a farm. He helped his dad with his peanut and fertilizer business while enjoying activities like hunting and fishing.
Bryan was a sickly baby, so his mom would constantly bounce him and hum “Rock of Ages” songs by The Band. She said he could hum the tunes before he could talk. Bryan’s family knew he had talent and always supported his dreams, so they got him his first guitar for his 14th birthday.
