Robert Downey Jr. in Elton John’s “I Want Love”
Before he became the billionaire tech giant Tony Stark in the Avengers franchise, Robert Downey Jr. starred in Elton John’s music video for “I Want Love.” The actor’s career has gone in so many different directions, but we never knew he played Elton John. It came at a rocky time in his life.

Downey Jr. was in rehab before filming the video, and the video was his first job after treatment. Directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, it featured Downey Jr. walking through Greystone Mansion lip-syncing to the song. It was shot in a single take but took 16 tries to get it right.
