John Lennon and Yoko Ono – Then
When John Lennon met Yoko Ono, his life course changed forever. The two met at a London art gallery in 1966. Lennon was married to Cynthia Lennon at the time, but he was so infatuated with Ono that he divorced his wife. Lennon and Ono started to spend all their free time together, which caused tension between Lennon and his bandmates.
Although their relationship wasn’t perfect, they created many films, art pieces, and performances together. Lennon and Ono were deeply involved in each other’s work because they creatively fed off each other. Some people believe she caused the breakup of The Beatles, but they were already on the rocks before Ono came into the picture.
