Building a Family
Reba and Narvel first met back in 1980, when he was the steel guitar player in her band. After seven years, he became her manager and friend; he was even there to support her while she was getting divorced from her husband at the time. During this time, the pair got even closer, and their friendship developed into a romance.

The love birds got married in 1989, on a boat at Lake Tahoe. The duo took the music industry by storm and created their very own management company called Starstruck. After they tied the knot, Reba took on the role of stepmother to Narvel’s three kids. The next year, she welcomed their son Shelby into the world. Things appeared to be going great, but the singer’s life wasn’t always so easy.
