She impressed both fans and critics with her performances and proved that she is still the Queen of Soul. In 2014, Franklin sang the “Great Diva Classics,” and it reached number 3 on R&B charts and number 13 on the pop charts.

In February 2017, Aretha Franklin was 74 years old and told WDIV Local 4 that she was collaborating with Stevie Wonder for a new album. She stated, “I must tell you, I am retiring this year.” In an interview, she added, “I feel very, very enriched and satisfied with respect to where my career came from and where it is now. I’ll pretty much be satisfied, but I’m not going to go anywhere and just sit down and do nothing. That wouldn’t be good either.”
