Her incredible rendition earned the singer stellar reviews. She released “So Damn Happy,” her last studio album in 2003. She was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom just two years later and became the second female that was ever inducted in the UK Music Hall of Fame. The singer received her 18th Grammy Award in 2008 for “Never Gonna Break My Faith,” a collaboration with Mary J. Blige.
