A Long Time Ago They Used to Be Friends
Considering the events of the last twenty-five years or so, it’s almost unbelievable that Courtney Love and Dave Grohl used to be friends a long time ago. Back in 1992, when Kurt and Courtney got married in Hawaii, their families may not have been there, but Dave Grohl was. There is even a photograph of the three of them holding hands after the ceremony.

In the early 1990s, Dave became the drummer for Nirvana, and Courtney started seeing the band’s leading man, Kurt Cobain. Love reminisced about their long-lost friendship in 2018, saying, “I liked Dave very much. He was a boundless bundle of energy, not only a great talent but great fun.” What went wrong between them?
