Aisha Murray married her high school sweetheart Jeffrey Bruce Atkins, aka Ja Rule, in 2001. The couple has three children together, Brittney, Jeffrey Jr., and Jordan. The two are known for their fun and free-spirited parenting style, which they call “new parenting.”

Aisha stuck by Ja Rule even while he served time in jail and had a rumored affair with a man. She didn’t leave him when Karinne Steffans claimed to be having a relationship with the rapper and reportedly didn’t believe Karinne’s allegations. However, Aisha has stated that she prefers Jeffrey, her high school sweetheart to Ja Rule, his rapper persona.
