Travis Barker was known for being the drummer in the pop-punk band called blink-182. He was born in Southern California and started taking jazz lessons and playing in a drumline when he was just 10 years old.
After finished high school, he played in the Los Angeles area for various small punk bands. He quickly became known as a captivating and innovative drummer in that community. In 1998, he was recruited by Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge to play for blink-182. Joining this band was the real start to his career.
