Selena Y Los Dinos
When Selena was just a young girl, she and her siblings started a band and called it Selena Y Los Dinos. Her sister Suzette played the drums, and her brother Abraham played bass. The group practiced in the garage and sometimes got booked to play at events, including parties and weddings. Wow, that’s pretty impressive for young children.

I mean, I had a band with my siblings when I was a kid, but we never got to play weddings. To be fair, we were never really that good. Their father was a former musician, so he took Selena and the rest of his kids seriously as their talent grew. He was involved in their musical dreams, and he managed and produced the group.
