Knight Pleaded No Contest
The incident happened back in 2015, and Knight initially pleaded no contest on the set of the rap biopic Straight Outta Compton. However, in 2018, he reached a plea deal which allowed him to avoid charges of murder as well as attempted murder.

Reportedly, Knight didn’t show any remorse during his sentencing, and just stood there in an orange jumpsuit, emotionless. In the state of California, the maximum penalty for voluntary manslaughter is 11 years in the slammer. But because of his previous convictions, his sentence was doubled.
