Arizona – Linda Ronstadt
Linda Ronstadt was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She started her career in the mid-‘60s after joining forces with Bobby Kimmel and Kenny Edwards. She then ventured out into a solo career path and started touring with The Doors, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, and others.
Ronstadt is considered the most successful female singer in the ‘70s, and she appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, Newsweek, and Time six times. Throughout her career, she has won ten Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, an Emmy Award, the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and many more. In April 2014, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
