On February 3rd, 2017, Reba dropped her first-ever gospel album, Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope. The album actually came with two different disks. One of them included more traditional hymns while the other one featured her original songs.

Reba admitted that her ex-manager, Bill Carter was the one who gave her the idea to make a gospel album in the first place. It turned out to be a wonderful decision. It was her 28th studio album and filled with her favorite songs that she had been gathering over the years. She also drew some inspiration from a hymn book she loved as a child.
