Johnny Cash & June Carter (Passed Away in 2003)
Cash and Carter had other kids from their previous marriages, and they had one kid together in 1970 named John Carter Cash. Both Cash and Carter overcame personal issues of addiction and harmful habits that threatened their ability to spend a lifetime together.

Cash credits his wife for his successful journey to get sober. Carter also overcame habit struggles. For Carter’s 65th birthday, Cash wrote that he was fortunate to spend his life with her. They remained together until Carter died in May 2003, with Cash also passing away in September of that year.
