Before she met Billy Ray, Tish Cyrus was married to Baxter Neal Helson, who was the father of her two eldest children, Brandi and Trace. Tish claimed that she “tamed” her country star husband, and the pair tied the knot in 1993 when Tish was about to give birth to the couple’s second child, and her fourth, Braison.

Billy Ray decided to adopt Brandi and Trace, and they became the Cyrus’s. The couple has had a bumpy relationship and even filed for divorce twice. Both times they reconciled, and the couple seems stronger than ever now. Tish also helped launch and manage her daughter Miley’s career.
