Who Are the Spice Girls?

The Spice Girls are a legendary pop music group formed in 1994. The group consisted of different personalities who created the group that has sung their way into our hearts. The group was formed in England after an ad was published searching for a specific “cool” girl. They led the resurgence of teen pop in the 1990s.

This sensational group has also been named the “second British invasion” of the United States and became the image of youth culture in 1990s United Kingdom life. The group consisted of five women from different walks of life – who would all become role models to young people worldwide. Melanie Brown (known as Mel B), Melanie Chisholm (Mel C), Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham would soon be known by their aliases.
