The Rest of the Cast
Vocal skills weren’t even necessary because they weren’t going to sing on records. Felipe Rose and Victor Willis were already in, and they were the only two out of the eight band members to appear on their debut album cover. Next to join the group was Alex Briley. He worked in musical theater and was friends with Victor Willis. He got the role of the soldier (GI).
Then, auditions were held for the rest. Randy Jones got assigned the role of Cowboy, and David Hodo landed the part of the Construction Worker; they were both dancers. Tollbooth operator Glenn got the part of Leatherman – he’s the only Village person wasn’t already working in the entertainment industry.
