Hard Life with Her Parents
Rihanna was born in 1988 in Barbados. Her mother, Monica, was an accountant, and her father, Ronald, was a warehouse supervisor. Her parents had a strained marriage, which stemmed from her father’s alcoholism and drug addiction. This really had an effect on her childhood, especially since he used to abuse her mother. Rihanna used to get in between them to try and break up the fights.

Her father owns a company called ‘Fenty Entertainment’ with a business partner, Moses Perkins. Rihanna has recently sued the pair for an invasion of privacy and “egregiously and fraudulently” misrepresenting that their company is connected to her. She previously used ‘Fenty’ to brand her business. Apparently, they would sell tickets for concerts which weren’t ever scheduled. Hopefully, this will be the last ‘daddy drama’ she must deal with.
