Rihanna wasn’t always known as Rihanna. Her full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Until today, her family calls her Robyn, but as a singer, she wanted something more star-like. While her fans still call her Rihanna, her family and close friends call her Robyn. Rihanna mentioned that she is so used to hearing Rihanna that there’s a better chance she’ll respond to you if you call her Robyn.

Did you know that we have been mispronouncing her name this whole time? More recently, Rihanna came out saying her name is pronounced Ri-Anna and not Ri-Ah-Na as everyone says.
